Extra Curricular Activities

Camps/Excursions

Stockdale Road offers a variety of experiences across the year that complements our approach to individualised learning.  All excursions focus on the activities in the classroom as well as the interests of our students.

All children are encouraged to attend camps from year 3 onwards.

School Representative Activities

We have an active group of parents that run our basketball and netball teams.  Training is conducted at the school.  

District Sports

The Traralgon District Sports Group provide a range of sporting events for our students to participate in such as cross country, football, athletics and winter sports.

Band

The school offers the opportunity to be a part of the school band.  The band performs at a number of local events.

Instrumental Music

We have a number of tutors that use our up to date purpose built music room weekly.  They offer tuition guitar, keyboard, clarinet and other areas.

Performing Arts

All students in the school have the opportunity to participate in this area.  Our students obtained first prize in the two areas in which the performed, at the 2008 Eisteddfod.

The 2009 focus is on J-Rock run at lunchtime by our staff.
