Principal's Welcome

As a parent and your child’s first teacher, you are the person who knows your child best! When you work closely with the school you can share information that can help the teacher know your child better. It also indicates to your child that this school is a worthwhile place and what goes on here is important. Close parent and community involvement both helps the school to operate successfully but more importantly helps your child get the most out of their school.
Please read this information about your school and then keep it as you may need to refer to it from time to time. Of course, the staff and I are only too happy to answer any queries you may have.
I draw your attention to the Bike Ed statement and the use of the school crossings. The staff, School Council and Principal seek your co-operation in these matters in the interest and safety of all children.
The central point of the school's concern must be each child's welfare and learning. Only a combined effort from staff, parents, child and School Council can achieve this.
We communicate through a weekly newsletter, which is sent home with the eldest child of each family every Wednesday. Please encourage your child to bring them home to you - read them carefully - and act on them by the required date.

We look forward to a happy relationship with you and your child in the year 2007 and beyond.
